Our School Office Staff are here to help you, however here are a few items that may be useful to parents and carers which you can view or download from our website.

Our School Day

Here is a breakdown of our school day:

Children can arrive from 8:45am for a ‘soft start.’ Support staff are available at the school gate and teachers in class to ensure a smooth start to the day.

Lunchtime is staggered from 11:30am – 1pm

Nursery sessions finish at either 12 noon or 3pm (with collection from the gate nearest to the school office)

The end of the school day is 3:15pm however to ease collection Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 will be brought out first with Key Stage 2 following (at 3:20pm)

In the interest of security the school gates are locked between 9:00am and 3:15pm.

Visitors are asked to use the main entrance and report to the office before gaining access.

Absence and Lateness

Registration ends at 09:10am.

All children arriving between 09:10 – 09:30am will be marked as late. If a child arrives in school later than 09:30am they are marked as an unauthorised absence; a parent/carer/guardian most drop the child off at the main entrance and explain why the child is late.  All lateness and unauthorised absence are monitored and passed over to the local authority.

What to do if your child feels ill

If your child is unwell then could you please let school know before 09:00am that morning.

If your child has diarrhoea and sickness then we ask you to keep them off school for at least 48 hours from the last bout. If your child has a contagious infection they must be kept off school whilst they are infectious. If you are unsure you can contact us or your doctor.
